MB2 Entertainment In Santa Clarita Hosts Soft Opening

Officials with MB2 Entertainment, with a new location at the former Mountasia in Santa Clarita, announced Wednesday they are now open.

The announcement comes after several months of work to revamp the entertainment center near Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country.

The new MB2 Entertainment Center has some of the same attractions as Mountasia, including go-karts, laser tag, bumper boats and mini golf.

The inside has also been improved with attempts to attract an older crowd with a bar and different sport simulators.

Another new attraction at MB2 is Duckpin bowling.

Duckpin bowling is bowling, but with smaller lanes and balls. You palm the ball instead of holding it with your fingers.

In addition to the attractions, MB2 Entertainment is offering a variety of dining options including appetizers, hand-tossed pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, salads and more at the location’s 65-seat American cuisine restaurant.

Guests are expected to be able to order off the full menu in the restaurant, bowling alley, outdoor beer garden as well as the indoor and outdoor bars serving beer and wine, according to MB2 Entertainment officials.

Sports viewing within the restaurant and bars are expected and over-the-counter on-the-go food and drinks are also available.

Nearby the plethora of outdoor attractions, the elevated beer garden has been planned to host lawn games and live music for its communal tables to relax and enjoy their meals and beverages, according to MB2 Entertainment.

The transformation from the previously-known Mountasia into MB2 Entertainment has been designed with an open concept and lots of land with an indoor area for over 1,000 guests and four private party rooms to host any special occasion from birthday parties to corporate meetings.

MB2 is scheduled to be open Wednesday until 11 p.m. for their soft opening.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
