Senses block parties are making a return this spring in Old Town Newhall, kicking off the event season with early St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
The Senses block parties bring live music, food trucks and themed activities to their events in an adult setting on Main Street on the third Thursday of each month from 7-10 p.m.
The Senses themed block parties on Main Street are scheduled to begin on Thursday, March 16, and last through October, according to officials with the City of Santa Clarita.
For the first event celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, attendees can play their favorite pub-style games like darts and pool and sip on Irish Whisky from the on-street bar provided by The Old Town Junction while listening to the music of Craic in the Stone.
Later in the year, Renaissance lovers are set to have the opportunity to become a Lord or Lady, or rustle up trouble in the Wild Wild West or escape to a vacation getaway during Tropical Summer.
Senses is a free event geared toward adults and features a new theme each month. Below is the full lineup for 2023:
- St. Paddy’s Eve – March 16
- Wild Wild West – April 20
- Outdoor Adventure – May 18
- Game Night – June 15
- Tropical Summer – July 20
- Ren Faire – August 17
- Tailgate – September 21
- Monster Mash – October 19
