The Main Set To Host ‘Scenes’ Showcasing Music From Around The World

The Main is set to launch “Scenes,” this month, showcasing music from around the world and through the ages, officials said Tuesday.

Starting Jan. 24, SCENES is set to recognize, celebrate and explore many diverse musical traditions that represent various cultures, music genres and the most unique regions on Earth, according to officials.

Many of the “music scenes” included in the new series have existed for hundreds of years, while others have only developed in the last decade or two, according to officials.

With hundreds of genres and subgenres to explore, attendees are set to experience something new each month, according to event organizers.

The MAIN plans on transforming each show to present an immersive experience, according to officials.

Guests are set to be able to view displays of music memorabilia, learn about the featured genre’s history, have the opportunity to purchase products associated with that night’s theme and more.

Each show attendees are to set to offer an exclusive VIP experience where ticket holders can meet the musicians prior to the concert and enjoy specialty foods linked to the featured music scene.

The music series is scheduled to debut on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, with “A Journey through the Polynesian Islands,” according to event organizers.

The series is expected to take place on the fourth Friday of each month at The MAIN located at 24266 Main Street, Newhall.

Doors are scheduled to open at 7:30 p.m. and the show is scheduled to start at 8 p.m., according to officials.

General admission is $15 and VIP access can be purchased for $20 per person while available.

  1. Sounds like fun!? What about the safety of us who want to walk around the area before, and after, with families & have an ice creams cone!? Blocks away is the worst area in SCV!! Many creatures not assimilating with the peaceful, decent, American way!!

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
