Officials are seeking the public’s help in locating an “at-risk” Saugus resident who was last seen on Monday.

UPDATE: 10 a.m. Friday — The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Person Unit is advising David Kayvanfar has been found.

“Thank you to the public, the media, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Mr. Kayvanfar,” said LASD officials.

David James Kayvanfar, 36, of Saugus was last seen at around noon on Monday, July 20, near his residence on the 28400 block of Santa Catarina Road.

“Kayvanfar is possibly suicidal,” reads a release from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “His family members are very concerned.”

Kayvanfar is described as a white male, standing at 5’8″, weighing approximately 135 lbs, with brown eyes and a bald head.

Anyone with information regarding Kayvanfar is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau’s Missing Person Detail, or the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at (661) 255-1121.
