Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are responding to a Santa Clarita death investigation Tuesday afternoon.
Around 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, deputies received reports of a medical emergency on Camp Plenty Road and Soledad Canyon Road in Santa Clarita, according to Sheriff’s officials.
“The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene,” officials said.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, investigators were not able to determine the age, race, or gender of the victim due to the decomposed condition of the remains. The cause of death was not apparent at the time of the investigation and is set to be determined by the medical examiner.
