The man who was killed Saturday evening as a result of a fatal Canyon Country shooting has been identified.
David Koos, 67, was reportedly killed as a result of wounds sustained during a shooting in Canyon Country, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
Deputies initially received reports of shots fired at around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday near Rainbow Glen Drive in Canyon Country, officials said.
“Deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call on the 26000 block of Rainbow Glen Drive,” said Deputy Crowder from the Sheriff’s Information Bureau at the time.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s officials remained on-scene for several hours as they investigated the circumstances that led to the incident.
