A man who was killed as a result of a fatal motorcycle crash on Copper Hill Drive Friday night has been identified.

Santa Clarita resident Jordan Vargas, 25, was identified as the person killed in Friday’s fatal motorcycle collision, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Officer of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
Reports were received around 6:18 p.m. of a traffic collision involving a motorcycle on Copper Hill Drive near Tamarack Lane, according to Supervisor Pickett from the Los Angeles County Fire department.
“We have a motorcycle down,” Pickett said at the time. “Our units are still on scene treating and evaluating.”
One person was killed as a result of the crash, prompting a shutdown of a portion of Copper Hill Dr.
The eastbound side of Copper Hill Drive at Seco Canyon Road was blocked and traffic was being redirected by deputies. The westbound side of Copper Hill Dr was said to be blocked near Gold Canyon Dr, according to officials on scene.
