Tree Falls On Tent In Canyon Country, Two Airlifted To Hospital

Two individuals were airlifted to a local hospital early Friday morning after a tree reportedly fell on their tent in Canyon Country, officials said.

Around 12:35 a.m. Friday first responders received reports of persons trapped on the 10600 block of Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country, said Leslie Lua, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“Reports were of a tree that fell on a tent,” Lua said.

It took firefighters approximately an hour to free the two individuals from under the tree, according to Fire officials.

The two individuals, including a pediatric patient, were airlifted to the hospital, according to officials on scene.

The condition of the patients is unknown as of Friday morning, according to Fire officials.

  1. At least the tree fell on them before the Vagrants (homeless) could cause another creek bed wildfire!!

    • The address corresponds to an actual campground up in the Nat’l Forest, and a child was seriously injured. I know recent events have you feeling frustrated and bitter, but don’t get callous. This was probably a family on a camping trip.

  2. As usual, tiny bats fly from your mouth whenever you speak. You have no sense of empathy.
This unfortunate incident involved a mother and child. Then you ask about the damn tree?!

  3. The Vagrants get away with immunity! They start in one place & their HoBo buddies join in, form an illegal drug & stolen item distribution society! Fires started in the wilderness—no problem, the Liberals will get us out/cover-up for us!

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
