The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce announced their newest exclusive partnership with One True North, a leadership and business coaching solutions practice in Valencia, to offer GrowthCLUB to the business community.
It will provide businesses with the opportunity to learn more profound distinctions on best practices on how to lead your team for results, how to optimize working in the “new normal,” and how to develop a vision for the future.
The workshop is open to all, with current members of the SCV Chamber receiving a discounted price.
The three and a half-hour virtual workshop will take place on Sept. 25 and the price includes
six one-hour, follow-up group coaching sessions covering the following topics:

- Week 2: Maximizing Your Business Checklist
- Week 3: Prioritizing with your 90-Day Filter
- Week 4: Mapping Out Your Annual Goals
- Week 5: Make Your Quarterly Goals SMARTER

The workshop’s follow-up six one-hour group coaching sessions will help you maximize your
GrowthCLUB workshop experience, document and achieve your goals, and make sure you successfully execute your fourth-quarter business plan.

Hispanic Heritage Virtual Celebration Honorees Announced
The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce today announced the Latino Business Alliance Business of the Year Award to Lief Labs and the Community Leader of the Year award to Paul De La Cerda. Both will be honored at this year’s Hispanic Heritage Virtual Celebration on Wednesday, September 16 at 6:00 PM.
Mayor Pro-Tem Bill Miranda will be the emcee for the evening. The Chamber and their Latino Business Alliance will celebrate the rich Hispanic heritage and diverse businesses that help make Santa Clarita Valley the great place it is.
The Latino Business Alliance works to promote Latino-owned businesses as well as enhance a company’s efforts with Latino customers and businesses. The SCV Chamber strongly believes a growing Latino population is a vital part of our diverse and expanding business community.

SCV Chamber To Virtually Salute Patriots On Veterans Day
The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce announced their virtual ‘Salute to Patriots’ event, in
partnership with the City of Santa Clarita and collaboration with the Santa Clarita Veterans Collaborative, as they will be recognizing Veterans who have not just served our Country but have made an impact in the SCV business community.
Representatives from the SCV Chamber and Veterans Collaborative will be visiting each of the six
honorees, at a social distance, to present their award and record a video message as they tell their story.
Each individual honoree video will be shown daily leading up to Veteran’s Day then be compiled into a
full program and shown on Wednesday, Nov. 11. The honoree videos and full virtual program can be watched via the Chamber, and KHTS’ social media pages as well as on SCVTV at 5:30 p.m.
The SCV Chamber also welcomes back Andy Gump as Title Sponsor for this year’s event. Program

Nominations open up Tuesday, September 1 to Wednesday, September 30. Forms can be requested by email. Please note, that anyone actively running for office in the 2020 election cycle will not be eligible for nomination.
