As temperatures begin to rise in the Santa Clarita Valley, officials with Los Angeles County have allowed pools, hot tubs, and saunas in apartment complexes and neighborhoods to open back up, while public pools within the City of Santa Clarita remain closed.

On Wednesday, County officials announced that pools, hot tubs, and saunas that are in a “multi-unit residence or part of a homeowners association” may now open across Los Angeles County.
Pools across Los Angeles County have been closed since the “Safer at Home” orders were issued in March by the County in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Now, as Los Angeles County begins to gradually open back up, these pools are also being allowed to open once more.
However, public pools within the City of Santa Clarita have not yet been given the green light to open back up, including pools such as the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center, according to Carrie Lujan, spokesperson for the City.
While an estimated date for the reopening of public pools has not yet been determined, City officials did indicate that they would do so once they got the approval from Los Angeles County.
The reopening of pools within apartment complexes and neighborhoods comes as temperatures continue to rise in the Santa Clarita Valley as summer approaches.
Temperatures are expected to range between the high 70’s and the low 90’s over the next week, according to officials with the National Weather Service.

You NEED to also list the rules for opening the pools. The public is clueless about the law.
This is very true! The rules they have put in place will make it almost impossible to follow for an apartment complex or association.
What are the new rules?? I live in an HOA
