Bridge To Home, in partnership with Villa Vibes Yoga, is set to host a charity yoga event next month called “Bridge To Om” at the College of the Canyons football stadium.
The event serves a dual purpose: to raise money for Bridge To Home and to fill a football field with as many participants as possible to share a yoga experience, according to event organizers.

“I had this idea to throw a big yoga event on the football field, but I wanted to do it for a great cause, to have a little purpose behind it,” said Amanda Crockett Kimble of Villa Vibes Yoga.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Bridge to Home and the organization’s efforts to provide services to homeless individuals and families.
When Kimble reached out to Bridge To Home to collaborate on the event, Bridge To Home officials welcomed the idea.
“We’re applying for funding to stay open 24/7, 365 days a year,” said Michael Foley of Bridge To Home. “We’ve had nearly 400 homeless people who have come through and sought services so far since July of last year.”
In addition to the shelter, Bridge to Home offers “wrap around” services, including case management, toiletries, meals and many others in hopes of helping keep people off the streets.

Bridge to Om is scheduled on March 2, with doors set to open at 8:30 a.m. The yoga session will begin at 9:30 a.m., according to officials.
“We’re going to have DJ’s there. All ages and levels are welcome,” Kimble said.
