Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger is set to present a $115,000 check to Carousel Ranch as a part of her ongoing commitment to support job training and workforce readiness. 

The check presentation is scheduled to take place during a “Ready To Work!” graduation ceremony co-hosted by College of the Canyons on Feb. 21 at 5:30 p.m.

Supervisor Barger is anticipated to present certificates or recognition to program graduates. In addition, job placement partners from Holiday Inn Express and Pet Supplies Plus are set to be in attendance, according to officials.

“Ready To Work!” is a 12-week program tailored for young adults with special needs for future sustainable employment, according to Carousel Ranch’s website. 

The program is currently approaching its four year anniversary.
