Check Out These Top Five Toys For The Holidays Before Pandemic-Related Shipping Delays Worsen

The 2021 holiday season is right around the corner with top toys of all ages hitting the shelves, but for how long? Experts suggest stocking up even sooner as pandemic-related shipping delays worsen.

With the hottest holiday toy, the Magic Mixies Cauldron, already sold out at Amazon, Target and Walmart, experts are advising consumers to not be tempted by annual Black Friday sales as toys are already flying off the shelves, according to The Toy Association.

“Because of the ongoing impact of supply-chain disruptions hindering toymakers this year, we don’t think there is necessarily going to be one stand-out toy like in years past,” said Adrienne Appel, senior vice president of The Toy Association. “Instead, the hot toys will be the ones that are actually in stock.”

The warning comes as a result of the harshly impacted global supply chain that has been caused by city lockdowns the government imposed in 2020 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, according to manufacturing officials.

These shutdowns ceased production from the number one toy manufacturer in the world as China shuttered factories and the United States simultaneously increased demand through online providers as people ordered electronics to begin working from home.

The disruption cannot be attributed to one single factor, according to various manufacturing companies as all elements of the transport chain have been impacted including warehouses, shipping lines and even the decline in truck drivers.

Supply-chain analysts, however, are attributing the supply-chain crisis to the economical manufacturing strategy of “just-in-time manufacturing,” a strategy that encourages holding onto the bare minimum of stock to cut back on costs and space, according to Fortune

With this strategy, if one minor component is delayed, entire production cycles are impacted and the supply dwindles, just like the car battery shortage that has caused the prices of used cars to skyrocket, according to Fortune officials.

For those who are able to begin shopping before pandemic-related shipping delays and the global supply chain worsens amid the holiday season, here is a list of the most coveted toys that children have on their wish lists in 2021:

  1. Ada Twist, Scientist

Best-selling children’s book and newly launched Netflix series Ada Twist, Scientist has been getting children excited about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) throughout 2021. The story follows an inquisitive second grader who conducts science experiments and “will have aspiring scientists conducting their own experiments in no time.” The interactive collection features an Ada Twist doll that comes with her own laboratory, a light up dry-erase notebook and a scientist’s pen that writes in invisible ink and glows to reveal hidden messages, according to the New York Strategist.

  1. Batman Bat-Tech Batcave Playset

Coming with an exclusive four-inch Batman figure, the interactive playset looks like a giant Batman action figure when closed, but features a multi-level Bat Cave with a functioning elevator and supervillain jail when opened. At approximately three-feet tall, the set has become popular with children from preschool up through grade-schoolers, according to the New York Strategist

.

  1. 5 Surprise Mini Brands Mystery Capsule Set

With mystery capsule design popularity alive and well, the hottest collectible toy this season features a set of two plastic balls filled with replicas of supermarket products that may include Laughing Cow cheese, Kool-Aid containers and little shampoo bottles. The packaging peels apart like an orange to reveal several mystery items that can be endlessly collected and traded between friends, according to the New York Strategist.

  1. Beyblade Burst Surge Speedstorm Motor Strike Battle Set

For almost two decades, Beyblades have been taking over top holiday toy lists and this year is no different. The fierce-looking spinning tops that kids shoot into battle via a zip launcher are taking over the shelves this holiday season with an updated motor strike battle arena that includes a motor vortex disc that redirects the tops randomly to make each competition even more interesting, according to the New York Strategist.

  1. SkyRocket Moji the Lovable Labradoodle

Experts are recommending this lovable interactive labradoodle for children who have been asking for a pet, but might not be ready for the responsibility. Moji, the labradoodle, has an animated face that responds to kids’ voices and touch with more than 150 reactions and can express their emotions through their collar that switches their emojis based on what he is thinking.

For more gift options, the New York Strategist has put together guides for kids of all ages, including 1-year-olds, 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds, 5-year-olds, 6-year-olds, 7-year-olds, 8-year-olds, and 9-year-olds.

  1. I flew north along the coast, including over Long Beach harbor, on Oct 9th and again this last Saturday. The array of cargo ships waiting to be unloaded was unbelievable in October, but it is noticeably worse now. The Biden Regime has thoroughly f*cked this up and is just making it worse and worse. There are now ships anchored halfway to Catalina. Gropey Joe will go down in history as “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.”

I’m sure liberal tools Alice and Monroe will leap to his defense, but I encourage everyone to think for themselves: Are you better off than you were 10 months ago? Or you much worse off? Have you noticed the skyrocketing prices, especially for gas and groceries? Has there been something you wanted to buy but couldn’t because it’s not in stock? Have you been the victim of a crime? Get it straight in your mind, this is what happens when you vote for Democrats.

    • Must be comforting to go through life blaming the “other side” for all problems. The supply chain issue is more complex than what you will be spoon fed by the right wing talk radio and “news” grift machines. It’s not hard to find if you bother to actually read anything that doesn’t specifically feed into your animalistic fear feedback loop.

What’s your solution? That’s right, tax cuts. They solve everything!

  2. Notice this article says, “Before Pandemic Related Shipping Delays Worsen”. It does not say before Biden effs it up. Who was President during the Pandemic? The guy that blew it off as a flu, not wearing maske. Oh Trump. Yeah. So, being a victim of crime meaning the Capitol of Washington, D.C.? ThatTrump, instigated? You can blame whoever you want. The Covid Pandemic is at fault. Out of any human control. World leaders everywhere are doing the best they can to help all of us get through this horrible thing & get us all back to “normal”. Just do what you can to stay healthy. Without being so negative.

  3. CNN and MSNBC told you it’s complex, so you know it is. They say it, you think it. No possibility of you thinking for yourself.

I’ve seen the harbor for myself. I’ve seen the unbelievable fleet of ships waiting to be unloaded, and I’ve witnessed that fleet growing larger. Not via talk radio, WITH MY OWN EYES. The solution could not be simpler- figure out why cargo is not going out of the port via truck and train, and fix that problem. A real leader, like President Trump, would do exactly that. He would get that port back to work.

The “infrastructure bill” Dems like you are so proud of included a provision to bring back the SALT exception thus providing a $400B tax cut (per the CBO) for the wealthiest people in America.

Stop trying to put strawman words in my mouth when the ACTIONS of the Democrats are plain to everyone except indoctrinated tools like you.
