Dead Body Found By Truck Stop In Santa Clarita After Medical Emergency

A dead body was found lying in the roadway by a Santa Clarita truck stop Thursday evening as the result of a medical emergency.

At around 6:45 p.m. Thursday, deputies received reports of a person in need of medical assistance near a truck stop on the 31000 block of Castaic Road in Castaic, according to Sergeant Robert Gonzales with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“There was a dead body,” Gonzales said. “It looks like it was a medical emergency.”

There were no other injured parties reported at the scene.
