At around 10:20 a.m. Friday, a three-vehicle crash was reported on the northbound 5 Freeway, just south of the 14 Freeway interchange, according to Nicolas Prange, spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

Officials on-scene discovered three vehicles involved in the incident, one vehicle was upside down with no persons trapped, according to officials.

There were four patients in total, two in critical condition, and two in fair condition, said Prange.

However, a female dog wearing a purple car was in one of the vehicles, and was reported missing after the crash.

“The owners are currently in the hospital being treated for injuries due to the accident so they are unable to go and look themselves for her,” said Kimberly Ann in an email to KHTS staff.

Officials say that the dog could have possible ran towards the nearby Roxford exit. Anyone who may have spotted the lost dog is encouraged to contact the owners at the number listed in the flyer.
