During a surprise appearance at a DC League of Super Pets screening in Playa Vista on Monday, Dwayne Johnson introduced Quail, a rescue puppy, to his new and overjoyed Valencia family.
Before the DC League of Super Pets screening on Monday, the Hernandez family, who live in Valencia, started looking for a rescue puppy at the Best Friends Animal Society for their children who had wanted a dog for years.
The Best Friends Animal Society and Warner Bros. Pictures worked side-by-side to make the adoptive moment even more special by having Johnson, the voice of KRYPTO in DC League of Super Pets, present their newest family member to the four animal-loving children.
“I dressed up as my character, KRYPTO, and surprised two audiences here at @cinemark in L.A.,” Johnson said on social media. “Best part was finding a loving home with the Hernandez family for my lil’ guy, Quail. (It was an) incredible night all in the spirit of celebrating pets.”
