Festival Of Trees To Be Held By Boys & Girls Club Santa Clarita Valley This Holiday Season

Santa Clarita residents and all others have been invited to attend the Santa Clarita Valley Boys & Girls Club’s annual Festival of Trees later this weekend.

On Saturday, Nov. 20 & Sunday, Nov. 21, the Santa Clarita Valley Boys & Girls Club are scheduled to hold its annual Festival of Trees, welcoming everyone to join in the holiday fun and help raise money for the organization.

“Large trees will be auctioned off during the Live Auction at the Magic of the Lights Gala Friday evening,” the festival’s website reads. “Tabletop trees and gingerbread houses will be auctioned online throughout the weekend. Bids may be placed on any of these items up until Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 5 p.m. when the online bidding platform closes.”

The festival is slated to feature gingerbread houses and vignettes, as well as elaborately decorated trees created by professional designers and other talented individuals, which are set to be seen and bid on in a silent auction.

Both days of the festival open at 10 a.m. and close at 6 p.m., with admission paid for at the door, according to event organizers.

“Large trees and vignettes will be featured in the LIVE AUCTION and will be sold at the Magic of the Lights Gala on Friday,” the organization’s website reads. “They may still be viewed throughout the weekend; however they will close out during the Live Auction Friday night and will not be available for bidding on Saturday and Sunday.”

Tabletop Trees and Gingerbread Houses can reportedly be picked up on Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Westfield Valencia Town Center.

Proceeds from the Festival of Trees are expected to help the Club provide memorable holidays to its members and support families, according to officials.

The Festival of Trees event is scheduled to take place at the Westfield Valencia Town Center mall at the old Saddle Ranch location, according to event organizers.

Festival of Trees is set to operate in accordance with public health guidelines; including limiting the number of guests, requiring masks to be worn and practicing social distance, according to officials.

The work of Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley continues through their programs and services remotely, virtually and in-person, according to organizers.

More information on both the live and silent auctions, as well as tickets for the Gala and sponsorship information, can be found at the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley’s website.
