On Monday, March 25, both the television show “Light as a Feather” and the film “Off the Deep End” are scheduled to film on Main Street, with filming being conducted from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., according to officials.
“Off the Deep End” is set to film scenes of interior dialogue inside the Newhall Refinery, as well as an additional exterior scene in a parking space on Main Street, according to officials.
“Light as a Feather” is scheduled to film several exterior scenes, with talent crossing streets and walking on the sidewalk. In addition, scenes of interior dialogue are set to be filmed inside Abe’s Pawn Shop, and a mock Christmas tree lot is set to be placed by the Canyon Theatre Guild, film officials said.
The day of filming is expected to impact traffic in the area, with traffic control set to take place on the intersection of 6th Street and Main Street from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Additionally, parking will reportedly be impacted, as three parking spaces in front of the Newhall Refinery will be claimed, as well as several sections throughout Main Street, according to officials.
