Officials with Frontier Toyota and Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital have announced the 47th annual “Drive Safe” Golf Classic, with proceeds set to benefit Henry Mayo’s Emergency Services Department.
On Saturday, May 9, golfers can tee up at the event, set to be held at the Valencia Country Club.
“This tournament is one of the most exciting, fun-filled charity golf tournaments in southern California,” said Dr. Bud Lawrence. “As the medical director for emergency services at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, I can also tell you how crucial this event is in raising funds for critical, life-saving care in our ER.”
The tournament is set to conclude with an awards reception, as well as live and silent auctions, according to event officials.
This signature event raised more than $336,000 in 2019 for Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, and officials said they are looking forward to another successful tournament this year.
Sponsorships are now available, and are expected to sell out fast. For more information, contact Laura Chesler, foundation annual giving officer, at 661-200-1202, email here or visit the website here.
