Local Digital Printing Company Provides Super Bowl Graphics For 33rd Year

Santa Clarita Valley digital printer Creative Graphic Services provided graphics for Super Bowl LV on Sunday, marking the 33rd year the local business had made the sports celebration special.

For the 33rd year in a row, the Santa Clarita-based company Creative Graphic Services (CGS) has produced graphics to make Super Bowl Sunday special, creating images for everything from the NFL Super Bowl Experience to the NFL Tailgate Party.

“We’re in a different year. The most enjoyable thing for our staff and our on-site crew was actually being back to work,” said CGS President Jim Niner in an interview with KHTS on Monday. “The goal for all of us was to show the world — or at least the nation — that if done in a correct way, we can hold those events if everybody is buying in on the masks and socially distancing (with) pre-packed food and drink.”

Specializing in the “fanfest experience,” CGS handled the graphics for the Super Bowl Experience at the Tampa River Center, and well as the TikTok Tailgate at the stadium itself. Headlined by Miley Cyrus, the Tik Tok Tailgate was a pregame musical event that hosted 7,500 vaccinated healthcare workers.

CGS made headlines in SCV last spring, when the company posted 125 “signs of positivity” around town in an effort to encourage residents amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

Niner noted that although his favored team of the night didn’t take home a win, he is still pleased to be a part of NFL history in more ways than one.

“It was a very unique experience to see a team play the Super Bowl in their hometown stadium,” Niner said.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the first NFL team to play the Super Bowl at their home stadium, although two other teams — the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams — have played in their home cities.

“On an annual basis, we are most proud to be a part of the NFL team bringing its magic and fan friendly events to the Super Bowl Host City,” Niner said “Although we are clearly in uncertain times, the health and safety protocols taken by the NFL this year were critical in demonstrating that done correctly and taken seriously, live events can be successful.”
