  1. Live near there and saw the LASD responding with lights and sirens. This morning I drove by and spoke with neighbors in their yards, 6 houses down from where this happened. They told me as much as this article says. We did not discuss the dog’s type, but we all had pure bred Retrievers. I think we all know what dogs do this. It is those high-strung French Poodles!🐩

  2. The breed of the Killer dog was known, but covered up, just like poor, lying supposed journalists do with trouble causing humans! They don’t want to stigmatize (the truth/facts/realities) of what did the crime! When statistics add up, that’s the truth/facts/realities! We all need to know to help improve bad behaviors of all bad situations!

  3. Well this way rescues can recycle and whitewash the dog’s background if the authorities sent it to the shelter or out of state retail rescues .
Hoping it was summarily put down, no pity , no hesitation.

  4. Any chance it could have been a pit bull?

  5. I wonder if the guy was mean to the dog and the dog fought back. It wouldn’t be the first time. Just guessing.

  6. I don’t consider myself the headline police, but it would read much better if it said “Man DIES (not killed) After Being Attacked by A Dog…”

The way it reads now, the man was attacked by a dog, and then he was killed. Maybe it is just me.

  7. I’m sure the dog “chose” to identify as a “killer”

  8. I read these articles and think “that’s so bad” and then I remember where I live: SE United States is THE worst as far as crazy pitbulls and mastiffs. I have lost track of the number of people I have met who are all bright eyed and motivated (read: $$$) about starting their own breeding business. “What kind of breed?” I always ask. The responses are 100% predictable: Pitbulls/ Mastiffs.

We see them roaming the streets in packs, tied up on chains in barren front yards, hiding in the woods, run over and left on the side of a road. I could scream at the stubborn ignorance of our society. And the so-called rescuers are part of the problem rather than the solution. “NO KILL” “NO KILL”. Unbelievable.

  9. And what type of humans usually own & train these creatures to pull around weights to strengthen their murderous fighting skills?!

    • Stupid, soon to be dead ones. Same type that rescues a pitbull to play with babcy face as a chew toy. It was a rescued Cane Corso. Not the first of this vicious breed to kill innocents.
