A memorial service for Santa Clarita murder victim Michelle Dorsey is set to be held on Saturday at Real Life Church.

The memorial service to honor Dorsey, who was murdered by her estranged husband, is scheduled to take place in person and via livestream on the KHTS Facebook page at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 12 at Real Life Church in Valencia.

Dorsey, who was murdered by her estranged husband on April 15, is survived by the three boys she shared with her husband.

Dorsey’s husband, James Dorsey, was arrested in April in the hours after the murder, later pleading no contest to the charges against him in court.

Dorsey’s three boys are now under the care of her sister Jessica Jordan and mother Cheryl Smith, who also look after Jordan’s three young children.

With the help of the Santa Clarita Coalition and Antelope Valley Chevrolet, among other community partners, Jordan was given a new Chevrolet Suburban with the capacity to carry her three children and Dorsey’s boys.

A fundraiser was also held to assist Jordan with the financial aspect of caring for Dorsey’s surviving family.

Various items were accepted as donations, including grocery store gift cards and clothing for Dorsey’s children. Some monetary donations were also used to purchase the Chevrolet Suburban for Jordan’s family.

Real Life Church is located at 23841 Newhall Ranch Road in Valencia’s Bridgeport Marketplace.
