One person was airlifted from Golden Valley High School after a medical emergency about a mile away Thursday afternoon, officials said.

The initial call was reported at about 1:50 p.m. on the 19600 block Ellis Henry Court in Canyon Country, according to Leslie Lua with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“It was for difficulty breathing,” Lua said.
Copter 12 with L.A. County Fire Air Operations arrived on scene to Golden Valley at about 2:10 p.m. Thursday, according to Lua.
As of 2:15 p.m., there has not been any airlift, despite other media reports, according to Fire officials.
The helicopter airlifted one patient to a local hospital in unknown condition at about 2:20 p.m.
