Three Providence hospitals in Southern California proved to be ranked among the best places to work in 2021, including Holy Cross Medical Center, in a survey by Modern Health Care.

Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton was ranked at No. 53, Providence Holy Cross Medical Center was ranked No. 63 and Providence St. Joseph was ranked No. 67.

Providence Holy Cross made the prestigious list for the third straight year, Providence St. Jude for the second year in a row and Providence St. Joseph Hospital was included this year.

Providence was ranked among the best hospitals to work at due to their range of benefits, wellness programs, opportunities for career advancement and tuition reimbursement and nurse shared governance to advance bedside care. 

During the pandemic Providence provided financial help with childcare costs and other benefits including mental wellness checks and free counseling for employees and families.

Modern Healthcare partnered with the Best Companies Group on the assessment process, to conduct an employee survey aiming to recognize workplaces that help employees to provide patients with the best possible care, products and services. 

Modern Healthcare is set to publish a special supplement featuring the ranked list of all winners along with the Sept. 20 issue of their magazine.
