A Santa Clarita children’s book author is set to host a live reading of her newest book this Saturday, sharing her newest story with children in our valley.
Melissa Cenatiempo, a teacher, mother and children’s book author, is set to host a read-aloud of her newest book “Dinosaurs Don’t Play Soccer” at The Open Book in Canyon Country on Saturday.
The book tells the tale of a young dinosaur who bucks tradition and follows his dreams of playing soccer, inspiring others and showing readers that going against the status quo isn’t always a bad thing.
Visitors can also take part in a small holiday craft and writing activity.
The “Dinosaurs Don’t Play Soccer” Read-Aloud is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at The Open Book in Canyon Country.
