Santa Clarita Dodger Day Returns; Tickets To Benefit Saugus High Shooting Victims

Santa Clarita Dodger Day is returning for its 43rd annual year this summer, with a portion of ticket sale proceeds set to benefit Saugus High shooting victims, officials said Monday.

This year, the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Colorado Rockies at Dodger Stadium on June 7 at 1:10 p.m., according to the City of Santa Clarita.

Tickets for the event are expected to go on sale on Feb. 18 at 8 a.m. online

This year, a portion of every ticket purchased through the SCV Dodger Day website is set to be donated to the Santa Clarita Disaster Coalition to benefit those affected by the Saugus High shooting last November.

This wouldn’t be the first time the Dodgers have stepped in to help the Santa Clarita community, as the Dodgers visited Saugus High School in a campus-wide rally as a part of their 17th annual community service week last month.

During the event, Dodgers Community Relations Coordinator Karla Maynez said, “I want to take a minute to commend this entire student body and staff for the way this community came together. Our players and the entire Dodgers family are proud to call Saugus home.  All of you guys are our family.”

Ticket prices for this event range from $33 each for Preferred Reserve seats to $80 Loge Box MVP seats. Field Level tickets, newly available for purchase this year, are $62 each.

A limited number of tickets are available in each seating tier and residents are able to choose their preferred seats before purchasing.
