Santa Clarita Girl Scout Troop 70842 has put together a fundraiser Saturday for the children of murder victim Michelle Dorsey.
The fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, May 15 from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Firehouse Subs in Valencia, said Julie Fick, the mom of one of the Girl Scouts.
“(The troop) would like to invite everyone to come out to help support the family and the three boys,” Fick said in a Facebook post.
The troop is set to collect monetary donations such as cash, Venmo or PayPal as well as gift cards for different Santa Clarita restaurants and department stores to provide essentials for the family.
