A brand-new website, the Santa Clarita Volunteer Hub, has arrived to help local non-profits find volunteers and help volunteers discover new opportunities for charity work.
A quick and easy solution for recruiting new volunteers, as well as finding the best-suited volunteer opportunity has finally arrived. Santa Clarita’s Volunteer Hub is a one-stop-shop that connects local non-profit organizations with volunteers, according to the City of Santa Clarita.
The Santa Clarita Volunteer Hub offers non-profits a new avenue to promote their volunteer needs as well as recruit volunteers. It also gives interested community members a central place to explore and sign up for up-to-date volunteer opportunities with both the City of Santa Clarita and local non-profits.
Non-profit leaders can now easily submit a request to promote their volunteer openings and recruit volunteers by visiting the user-friendly website.

Since its launch at the end of October, seven non-profits, including Family Promise, WiSH Education Foundation and Blue Star Ranch, have submitted requests to promote their volunteer opportunities and have generated interest from volunteers.
Volunteers can now offer help in animal care, youth mentoring, food or supply delivery, marketing support, as well as other City volunteer needs.
