  1. On this very website there is a story of him being arrested twice in one day on Aug 8 for DUI of Narcotics. So sad it culminated with his death. RIP

  2. Condolences to his family, especially his brother whom I used to work with.

  3. Are we supposed to feel sorry for this POS? Perhaps for his family but definitely not for this drug abuser.

    • A lot of the bored suburban kids in scv deal with substance dependency. Good luck with calling the kids in your life “pos” bcuz it’s coming to you or it’s already happening.

RIP Brandon. He’s been battling addiction for years and was a kind person.

  4. R.I.P Shubunka. He was a son, a brother, a father and a good friend. I’ve known Brandon for 8 years and am grateful to be able to call him my friend. We did our electrical apprenticeship together and shared many laughs together. I just found out today of his passing. He was not a “druggie”, he was working hard to better himself but had some struggles along the way. My condolences to his family and his son, he will be greatly missed.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
