Six Flags Magic Mountain is set to host their annual “Bag-A-Ticket” holiday food drive, allowing park-goers to enter for free with the donation of food, officials said Tuesday.
Guests who donate a full bag of non-perishable food items are set to receive a park ticket, good for that day, as well as “One-Day Dining Deal” and “Buy One, Get One Game Play” offers, according to Sue Carpenter, spokesperson for the park.
All food donated is set to be given to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, according to Carpenter.
“The need for food supplies continues to rise and more families than ever are going hungry,” Carpenter said. “Help a family in need this holiday season with your donation and then treat your own family to an exciting day at Six Flags Magic Mountain, getting your fill of thrills on the best collection of world-class coasters and thrill rides around.”
This year, Magic Mountain is set to be lit up with over 2 million lights during their Holiday in the Park event, which runs for 44 straight nights from Nov. 23 through Jan. 5.
“Six Flags Magic Mountain’s annual holiday extravaganza, Holiday in the Park, lights up the season even brighter this year,” Carpenter said. “Holiday in the Park begins each day at 5 p.m., signaled by the first falling snow of the evening.”
Food donations are scheduled to be accepted Monday, Nov. 25 from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Magic Mountain park hours on Nov. 25 are set from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
