  1. Prayers for his family. Hopefully further follow-up as to whether natural or suspicious causes

  2. You should be ashamed of yourself for releasing his name without his family’s consent. Louie Diaz, you’re better than creating clickbait off of a local man’s death.

    • His name was released by the County Medical Examiner and is freely available for anyone to find. Names are only released after family has been notified. It’s a matter of public record. You realize you can look it up right on the medical examiner’s website, right? This created quite a stir and required quite a response, so people wanted to know what happened. If you have an issue, take it up with the County or State lawmakers.

      • You realize that you have control of what info you share and don’t share on this page, right?

You realize that NOONE is searching the LA country corners office randomly, right?

You realize that many people will find out about this news via your article instead of how the family would prefer, right?

Take the article down. Your clickbait attempt is pathetic and immoral.

Take a step back and think about what I requested, and what your response is.

Stop being a journalist for a second and be a human being.

  3. What a tragedy…. It’s long been a favorite trail of mine, but enjoying solitude and the beauty of nature, there lurks many dangers.
It is so important to pay attention to your body and to not push too hard. Important to stay hydrated too.
So sorry for this man and his family.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
