The Valencia Library is partnering with the Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library for a summer-reads book drive, where the community is being encouraged to donate books and materials with the hopes of spreading some great summer reads at bargain prices.

The sale is set to take place inside the Community Room, where attendees are expected to bring their own bag to shop with. All proceeds from sales would directly support programming for the Santa Clarita Public Library.

Donations for books and materials are scheduled to start on Aug 1, and the book-sale is expected to begin on Aug 17.

The Santa Clarita Library is located at 23743 W. Valencia Boulevard.
