The Main and officials from the city of Santa Clarita are seeking artwork to display in the 2018 Solo Art Exhibits at the Old Town Newhall art venue.

The City of Santa Clarita’s Arts and Events division is currently seeking submissions for solo exhibits for 2018 in the gallery space at the The Main.

“Selected artists will exhibit their work for the duration of one month,” said a city news release. “The art will be displayed in the gallery space at The Main, where events such as ‘Note By Note’ and the ‘10 by 10’ are hosted, as well as the ‘Comedy Mashup,’ the ‘Society Impov’ and other entertainment.”

All visual arts media is eligible for consideration. However, the artist must be at least 18 years old, according to city officials. Proposals may only be submitted by individual artists.

Established and newly emerging visual artists and creatives are encouraged to apply online by Monday Jan. 22, 2018 at the the Santa Clarita Arts website here.
