Warm Weekend Expected In Santa Clarita Weather Forecast

Current gloomy weather is expected to clear up by Friday in Santa Clarita, leading into a warm weekend well above the normal level of heat for this time of year.

Beginning Thursday, weather forecasts from the National Weather Service (NWS) predict a decrease in clouds and fog with conditions set to clear up, leading into a warm weekend, according to Rich Thompson, a meteorologist with NWS.

“This weekend is predicted to be well above the normal warmth for this time of year,” said Thompson.

Weather conditions in Santa Clarita are expected to remain gloomy with slight fog in the lower-to-mid 60’s until Wednesday, with cloudy conditions and slight drizzle in early mornings and late nights.

These days are set to have slow-clearing afternoons, remaining very cool with 15-20 mph winds. Thursday and Friday are predicted to clear up with an onshore flow of warmth and decreased gloom, according to Thompson.

Saturday is set to be when conditions really begin to heat up, with conditions predicted to be in the lower-to-mid 80’s.

Sunday to Monday is scheduled to be in the mid-to-upper 80’s with warm and dry conditions.
