Over 100 Additional Santa Clarita Valley Coronavirus Cases Confirmed

Over 100 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed within the Santa Clarita Valley Friday, the highest number of new COVID-19 cases for SCV since mid-June.

115 new Santa Clarita Valley coronavirus cases have been reported on Friday, along with 1,401 additional Los Angeles County cases, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

Both of those numbers meet the threshold for the next tier of reopening, but most hold for two weeks to qualify for the next stage, according to Public Health.

  1. I think you got these #s mixed up. Acton is larger with a larger population and has always reported a higher number of covid cases than Agua Dulce. But you said:

“Additionally, 27 cumulative cases have been confirmed in nearby Acton as well as 70 in Agua Dulce.“
