On Wednesday, Dec. 6, at approximately 7:45 a.m., deputies responded to the 25200 block of De Wolfe Road in Newhall after a report of a man with a gun involved in a domestic disturbance.
The man was later identified by Sheriff’s officials as 52-year-old Robert Mount.
Deputies arrived and contacted two victims who told them Mount had pointed a handgun at them and threatened them during a domestic incident. This apparently stemmed from an unreported spousal assault from the previous evening.
The victims reported he had numerous firearms at the location and was still inside the home.
Deputies surrounded the residence and made several attempts to communicate with Mount and have him exit the residence, but received no response. The Sheriff’s Department Crisis Negotiation Team and Special Enforcement Bureau (SWAT) were notified and responded.

Clearly a mental health issue. Not because of the guns but because he surrenders without putting a shirt on first. 🙂
144? That’s gross.
