A shooting in Canyon Country Saturday night is being investigated near a Popeyes Chicken restaurant, according to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials.

“we’re still gathering info,” said Lt Leo Bauer. Detectives are still investigating the incident.

The shooting took place in the Canyon Country Lowe’s parking lot, in the 19000 block of Golden Valley Rd.

At least one person was shot, officials said. No information was released about the suspect.
