Due to a threat made toward Canyon High School , the last day of finals are going to be held online Thursday with the campus closed to high schoolers.
On Wednesday, a threat was written in the girls bathroom at Canyon High School referencing gun violence on June 2, according to officials with the William S Hart High School District.
Due to the threat, students are to remain home and to take finals online, according to officials.
The school is expected to remain open for staff wishing to come on to campus.
Canyons graduation, which is also scheduled for Thursday evening at the College of the Canyons Cougar Stadium is expected to continue as planned, officials said.
Additional law enforcement will be patrolling around Canyon High School and the COC stadium.
