A convicted felon was arrested in Gorman on multiple charges Saturday after deputies found him slumped over the wheel of his car, officials said.
Deputies patrolling Gorman were conducting a welfare check of a man who was reportedly slumped over in the driver’s seat of his vehicle while parked on the side of Old Ridge Route Road, said Shirley Miller, a spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“Upon making contact, deputies observed a methamphetamine pipe in the man’s hand,” Miller said.
In addition to the pipe, deputies also found methamphetamine and a loaded revolver inside the vehicle, Miller said.
Michael Bradshaw, 39, of Wrightwood, was arrested for allegedly being a felon in possession of a firearm and narcotics charges.
Bradshaw was arrested and transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station with bail set at $75,250, according to arrest records.
