A Canyon Country woman accused of fatally stabbing her girlfriend over 70 times returned to court Tuesday, more than two years after the original crime reportedly took place.
Pamela Michelle Walker, 36, is accused of fatally stabbing her 46-year-old girlfriend, Christine Diane McQueen, also known as Christine Himmle, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The incident in question is alleged to have occurred more than two years ago.
On April 8, 2017, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a report of a possible fatal stabbing on the 18700 block of Vista Del Canon, near Via Princessa and Sierra Highway.
Shortly after deputies’ arrival, they received further reports that Walker and McQueen had allegedly been in a verbal altercation that turned physically violent, according to Homicide detectives investigating the case.
Deputies forced their way into the home and discovered McQueen, who was pronounced dead at the scene with multiple stab wounds.

The investigations found McQueen had been stabbed 71 times.
Later the same day, Walker was arrested at McQueen’s mother’s home in Toluca Lake.
More than one year after the incident in June 2018, Walker pled not guilty at the San Fernando Courthouse. She is currently being held at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood with bail set at $2,020,000.
She is scheduled to return to court on Dec. 19 for a pretrial conference.
