‘Sexy Vegan’ Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Dog Returns To Court

A Newhall man with the legal name Sexy Vegan returned to court Thursday after being arrested on charges of sexually assaulting his dog and posting the video on social media.

Sexy Vegan, born Hansel DeBartolo III, 37, is charged with one misdemeanor count each of sexual assault on an animal and posting obscene matter, according to Paul Eakins with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

On Sept. 5, the Vegan reportedly posted a video on his social media account depicting inappropriate behavior with a pit bull, prosecutors said.

After investigation, detectives served a search and arrest warrant for the suspect’s home on DeWolfe Road in Newhall, according to Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“Detectives found a video on social media of the suspect performing an act of bestiality,” Miller said.

Vegan was also reportedly on probation for an unrelated charge outside of the Santa Clarita area, according to Sheriff’s officials.

Two dogs were removed from the home by the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control, Miller said.

Vegan has appeared twice on the Dr. Phil Show, with the first appearance for an episode titled, “My Brother Changed His Name to ‘Sexy Vegan,’ Wears Speedos in Public and is Spending My Mom’s $11 Million Inheritance.”

If convicted as charged, he faces up to one year in county jail, according to the D.A.’s Office.

The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Vegan is scheduled to return to court on Nov. 5 for his pretrial.

  1. If this sicko goes to prison he will understand what he put that poor animal though, Bubba will show him and he deserves whatever he gets.

  2. That’s being beastophobic! Some males love dogs more than people. That’s divisive! Get Woke & live and let live, isn’t that what everyone is supposed to do nowadays ?

    • Lol good one, yeah I thought every weird fetish was being let out of the closet. Maybe it’s time to put it all back in and let’s go back to don’t ask don’t tell because we do not need to know what odd thing floats your boat.

  3. We thought nowadays, everything is supposed to be proudly paraded as good/fine/normal!? Those who disagree are beastophobic/divisive/discriminatory and not Woke. I’m OK. Everything is OK, nothing wrong, everything right!

  4. I agree with Will. Let’s put it all back in the closet. I don’t want to know what’s on other peoples play list!

  5. Why put in in the closet? The LGBTQ March proudly for their behavior, why not beastialititis?! Are you being beastophobic? Be inclusive, celebrate our differences , be woken!
