Deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station are investigating a grand theft burglary Sunday afternoon at a T-Mobile store in Canyon Country.
At around 1:00 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to reports of a grand theft at the store on the 19000 block of Golden Valley Road in Canyon Country.
The suspects made off with multiple cell phones from the store, according to Lt. James Royal with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“They were last seen in a dark blue sedan heading towards the 14 Freeway,” said Royal.
The suspects are both described as black males. One suspect was wearing a blue hoodie. The other was wearing a gray hoodie, according to Royal.
Investigators are looking for a dark-colored Mercedes being driven by the suspects. The vehicle had identifiable damage to the left side that was “not related to the incident,” but noted by investigators.
Grand Theft is a crime when more than $950 – or the equivalent in stolen goods – is stolen in a single incident.
