  1. Same response as the skateboard attack story……

  2. You get what you vote for. Easy on crime = ?
Anyone but a Democrat can figure out the answer.

  3. Yep and just a couple blocks away we are supposed to spend $100 on dinner and drinks for two. I hope those business owners are speaking out about this too. I wont go down there anymore.

    • We went there once. Two Beers and Two Burgers, $100.
We didn’t see any Machete street action that night.
      We were not impressed.

    • And yet it seems like 99% of the city’s budget goes towards gentrification. I think our City Council members saw a crime-infested ghetto, bought up a lot of property cheaply, and then pumped million after million of our tax dollars into sprucing the place up so they could sell their properties at a big profit.

Meanwhile, we never seem to have a nickel available to fix the timing of the traffic lights. I sometimes think about running for City Council on that one issue alone.

  4. All above comments are true & accurate except Flo!! Thanks Biden & Demonocrats for the horrible inflation/gas prices/horrendous Illegal Alien infiltration/condoned crime/etc. Look what the Liberals have done to all the major cities & education across the once wonderful USA, a degradation tragedy that’s indisputable!

  5. We had a Republican president and Republican majorities in both chambers starting 2016. Not accurate to blame everything on “the liberals.” By the way Democrats are not all liberals. Some writers on these posts write as if they are the same. It’s like saying all Republicans are extreme right-wing tea party members. There is a wide range of belief systems held by us all!
Earlier, someone asked why Elder would have been a disaster. He is a provocateur. We don’t need that.

    • Flo, seriously, you’re way off on this. Elder is a right wing nut? He’s for school choice. Is that horrible? 70% of black kids leave school in LA and can’t read. Not do higher math, I said “READ”. That’s sad, right? It ain’t working so let’s fix it (if that’s a provocateur, then so be it.) The public schools are a mess. Hello, do you live on planet Earth?

You’re way off. Get it together, please. Go read a book and turn off CNN. Your brain is like mush.

      • Elder was clearly not what people wanted or he would be in!
Being in favor of school choice doesn’t mean he knows how to fix education. Lots of people can say that they believe in school choice. Of course education success is complicated.
He has said many inflammatory remarks that brought him listeners on his radio talk show. Is he really the cream of the crop, though? I wrote that I think he wouldn’t be the right choice. It doesn’t mean my brain is mush and I wonder how you deal with people in your life that have different ideas than you.

  6. Flo, If the decent old Democrats(with naive/condoning/horrible ideas/behaviors)didn’t believe in the destruction the Liberals have been doing to all cities in the USA, why do they vote, go along with, approve, condone the Liberals bringing down the entire party & USA?!

  7. I hope you can find happiness.
    I’m done.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
