Deputies are investigating the report of a robbery Friday afternoon at Placerita Liquor in Newhall, officials said.
At around 1:50 p.m. Friday, a strong-arm robbery was reported on the 24300 block of Main Street, according to Shirley Miller, with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The suspect is reported to be a male white in his 30s, with tattoos on both arms, according to Sheriff’s officials.
The alleged robber was last seen on Lyons Avenue driving westbound in a silver Hyundai, officials said.
Taken from the liquor store was a bottle of vodka and several other items by force, according to initial reports.

It wasn’t a robbery at all, simply just a beer run although still extremely messed up that it happened at Placerita.
If a theft or “beer run” (as you call it) suspect uses force or fear to complete the theft when confronted it is considered a robbery.
