Detectives Seek Help Identifying Stevenson Ranch Vandalism Suspect

Detectives with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station released an image of an individual suspect of vandalizing a Stevenson Ranch fountain, and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

On Thursday, detectives with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station released two images of an individual suspected of vandalizing a water fountain in Stevenson Ranch back in November.

“The person is seen on video pouring what appears to be liquid into the water,” the poster released by the station reads. “The fountain required repairs paid for with HOA funds.”

The person pictured is believed to be 18 years-old, and is described as a white male with short dark hair.

Any residents with information regarding this individual is encouraged to contact Detective Dorman at 661-255-1121, ext. 5176.

  1. KHTS, I love your website and the dedication you obviously have to enriching and informing our community. But please reconsider postings like this from law enforcement. The laws world wide have long made distinctions regarding the seriousness of offenses (and youth). But in 2021 colleges, private citizens, and employers do not. Let the authorities and parents deal the punishment and reparations this kid deserves. Don’t let social media (this was reposted ) pile on and potentially overreact affecting this kid’s future for years to come

    • This kid deserves to have all the publicity it can. He vandalized something important. His name and face should be brandished everywhere. We need to bring back law and order to California and this is one of the best deterrents of all. I hope this kid is found and is punished to the maximum extent of the crime he committed.
