UPDATE: Former The Master’s University Student Employee Arrested For Taking Upskirt Images Of Multiple Females

A former The Master’s University student employee has been arrested for allegedly taking upskirt images of multiple women, officials said Tuesday.

Sebastian Barrales Raymundobarrale, also known as Sebastian Raymundo, 21, was arrested on June 12 for reportedly “secretly videotaping or photographing the body or undergarments of another,” according to a complaint from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

There were four separate incidents where Raymundo allegedly took photos under the skirts of women in 2019: on April 24, June 2, June 6 and June 12, according to the complaint.

The June 12 incident reportedly occurred on The Master’s University campus, according to Sheriff’s investigators.

The complaint alleges Raymundo unlawfully use a concealed recorder to photograph under or through the victim’s clothing, to view her body or her undergarments, without her consent and knowledge with “the intent to arouse, appeal to and gratify the lust, passions and sexual desires of defendant and invade the privacy of the victim, under circumstances in which she had a reasonable expectation of privacy.”

Raymundo reportedly worked at The Master’s University for over two years, according to filings from the school.

The suspect was employed as an institutional assessment intern and resident assistant.

“I can confirm what is detailed in the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. incident report,” said Brian Harr, director of communications for TMU in a statement Wednesday.

There was an incident on campus between two students in the west parking lot on June 12, according to Harr.

“We take seriously the safety and privacy of each of our students,” Harr said. “The Master’s University is fully cooperating with the Sheriff’s Office as they handle this.”

Raymundo is expected to appear in court for the first time at the Santa Clarita Courthouse on Thursday, with bail set at $25,000.

  1. Allegedly…. is it good faith reporting to report on “alledged” crimes? For a small town paper it shouldn’t be.

  2. Corey, I’m afraid you’ve forgotten some basics. The reason the word “alleged” is used in reporting is courts determine guilt or innocence. Until a final determination is made, the person is characterized as “allegedly” committing a crime. There’s nothing irresponsible about this reporting. In fact they are serving the community interests well by reporting. Your real focus should be on the moral implications of student leaders allegedly violating the privacy of students in a salacious manner.
