Man Allegedly Threatens Jr. High Student On City Bus

Deputies are investigating after a person allegedly threatened an Arroyo Seco Junior High student on a Santa Clarita City bus last week.

On Wednesday, Sept. 28, an incident occurred on the 22500 block of Pamplico Drive in Saugus in which a man entered the City bus and began making verbal threats towards a student, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station

“The suspect then exited the bus, and drove out of view,” Arriaga said. “He remained outstanding at the time of the investigation.”

Through investigative work, deputies were able to identify the suspect, however, no arrests have been made as of Thursday.
“The investigation is being conducted as a criminal threats and annoying/molesting persons under 18 incident,” Arriaga said.

“(Arroyo Seco) was able to review the video footage to make sure we could identify any kids and meet with them if they were upset, that’s happening now,” said Kathy Hunter, assistant superintendent with the Hart District.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the SCV Sheriff’s Station at 661-260-4000.

  1. So he followed the bus to confront the kid?

I bet the whole story doesn’t paint the kid as an angel.

  2. The kid was a card carrying Navin Gruesome Youth, Donkey Pox Zombie, wearing a Bong Hits For Jesus T-shirt

  3. Men don’t threaten children, males do——

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
