Man Attempts To Kidnap Children From Valencia Home After Kicking In Door

A man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly kicked the front door open to a Valencia home and attempted to kidnap the children inside.

Around 12:50 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to the 25800 block of Alegro Drive in Valencia regarding a burglary, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“Upon arrival, deputies learned a male,… kicked the front door open of a residence in order to make entry,” Arriaga said.

The suspect was allegedly attempting to remove children who were seated inside from the home, but was prevented from doing so by one of the victims, according to Arriaga.

“The victims did not know the suspect,” Arriaga said.

Francisco Delacruz, 31, from Newhall was arrested on felony counts of burglary and attempted kidnapping, Arriaga added.

Delacruz was arrested and transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail with bail set at $170,000, according to arrest records.

  1. Just try it at my house, you won’t make it out alive. ?

  2. Stranger kicks in door and tries to take my kids…
Meets my two best friends, Mr Smith and Mr Wesson.

Oh, wait.. this is Cali. can’t defend yourself or family. Bad guys rights supersede yours

  3. FRANSICKO DELaCruz from lovely Newhall accused of B&E and kidnapping—-Demonic Liberal Gas-Con will let it go in a few hours to finish the disgusting crime and hang out with Bird Gang Gang!

  4. Sounds a bit strange to me. I’m curious if
1-this was a custody dispute and the non custodial patent hired someone to snatch thf kids
2-did the subject have knowledge of the said children from the internet..
    How old are the ‘children’

  5. When the law is disrespected by our “leaders” and we as a country continue to vote for those who disrespect the law and those trying to enforce the law, we will see more and more of this. No reason to be surprised, just prepare for the chaotic future.

  6. Glad the kids are good. We need more information! Is he here legally? Is he already out of custody! Is he a sex offender ? Crime up here has gotten out of hand in the past 20 years. Our LASD is doing the best they can with the limited resources they have. Is DA is going to cause more destruction to this countywide with his BS policies. So sad but I’m leaving this once beautiful state called California in 3. Soon as my kiddo graduates . If this guy came into my house he would leave! I don’t care about any gun law ! ????????????????

  7. Thanks Liberals for your constant degradation of Our once wonderful country!

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
