Castaic High School was put on a brief lockdown Thursday morning after a trespasser came on campus.
Around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Castaic High School on the 31500 block of Valley Creek Road in Castaic was put on lockdown after a trespasser was found on campus, said Dave Caldwell, spokesperson with the William S. Hart Union High School District.
Castaic HS was placed on a lockdown as a precaution because of an unauthorized person on campus. The person was located and detained by the Sheriff's Department. The lockdown has been lifted and all are safe.

“We went on lockdown as a precaution,” Caldwell said.
The individual was located and detained by deputies, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
There were no weapons found, and the lockdown has been lifted as of 11:40 a.m. Thursday.

How do you know it wasn’t?
It would be pretty hard to incite those kids and their soccer Mom’s to riot. There is zero foot-traffic in that area, and you don’t want to be in the line of cars coming and going at specific times.
Just in case, you could wear a Black Labs Matters t-shirt, and carry a projectile bag of dog poo, and a double-sided sign stapled to an axe-handle: NO Biscuit! NO Peace! and Defund Animal Control! And your Labrador Retriever should be black.
