One individual was detained Saturday evening in relation to a reported pharmacy burglary in Saugus.
Reports were received of a burglary in place at the Rite Aid Pharmacy on the corner of Bouquet Canyon Road and Seco Canyon Road just before 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
“One was detained but units are still on scene investigating,” said Sgt. Barkon with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “There were no weapons involved, but it’s possible he may have pushed an employee.”
The suspect was taken into custody and is being investigated on possible charges of strong-arm robbery, according to the Sergeant.
